24-hour Audition Same Day as IZ*ONE Disbandment Confirmation. Yuehua Entertainment is under fire for hosting a “Speedy Audition”, promising to respond to all applicants in 24 hours.

Yuehua Entertainment revealed a unique opportunity for girl-group stars: a girls only “Speedy Audition”, where applicants will be notified within 24 hours. The audition period runs from March 10 through March 24, with applicants only required to submit their personal information, a photo of the front and a short video.

Many IZ*ONE fans are now scathing of the company’s decision.

Mnet released a statement confirming that IZ*ONE would be disbanding as planned in April, the day Yuehua Entertainment posted their audition on Instagram. Yuehua Entertainment currently has Yena, IZ*ONE’s main rapper, lead singer, and lead dancer.

Many fans speculate that the agency might be rushing to recruit new trainees in order to launch a girl group featuring Yena as its leader. Until now, most people assumed that Yena would either be added to Yuehua Entertainment’s existing girl group, EVERGLOW or debut as a solo artist after IZ*ONE’s disbandment.

Even worse, rumors are circulating that Yuehua Entertainment, Starship Entertainment (“Yujin, Wonyoung”), and 8D Creative (“Hyewon”) were the only agencies opposed to extending IZ*ONE’s contract. Starship Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment are currently refusing to receive emails and faxes from IZ*ONE Fan Union about the group’s future.

Others believe the Speedy Audition may not have anything to do with Yena.Entertainment held many auditions over the past year with quick turnaround times, even though this is the most recent Speedy Audition specifically for female trainees.

The audition is open to girls between 13 and 18 years of age. The period seems to conflict with Yena’s age of almost 22. Yuehua has never presented a girl idol under 17 years.

Many believe this is a Speedy Audition for a girl group that will debut in the future, with EVERGLOW’s debut less than two years ago. Yuehuais likely to want to debut Yena soon, so it seems unlikely she would be part such a group.

Yuehua Entertainment Gives a Update on EVERGLOW

Yuehua Entertainment finally released a statement updating fans about EVERGLOW, weeks after their announcement that members Yiren (and Sihyeon) had tested positive for COVID-19.

Yuehua Entertainment, EVERGLOW’s management company uploaded a notice to the official SNS accounts of the girl group on Jan. 9th. It shared the current status of the members.

“Hello, this Yuehua. This announcement is to confirm that EVERGLOW was released from quarantine. Members Sihyeon, Yiren have also tested negative.

Since Sihyeon & Yiren were positive for COVID-19 on December 1, 2020, they have been focused on getting treatment. They have now been cleared to return to their daily activities as they have passed all of their tests.

The four remaining members of EVERGLOW remain in quarantine because they were in close contact with Sihyeon, Yiren and others. However, they will soon resume communication with fans.

We will continue to cooperate with the government and make safety and health of our staff and artists our top priority. We apologise once again for any inconvenience caused to fans and for making fans wait so long. We are grateful.

EVERGLOW fans, also known as Forever, have been very concerned about the girl group since they haven’t heard from them in over a year. On their YouTube channel, the band posted their last update on November 27, while it was posted on Twitter on Nov. 28. Yuehua Entertainment also has not issued any statements since Dec. 1. To wish Yiren a happy birthday, the company updated its Twitter account on Dec. 29

Yuehua released a statement on December 1, 2020 revealing that Yiren, Sihyeon and other members had been diagnosed as having COVID-19. The four remaining members, who tested negative, will be going into self-quarantine for a period of two weeks. According to the record label Yiren was in close contact with a COVID-19-positive acquaintance. The virus was then passed from Yiren’s friend to her, and then to Sihyeon.

EVERGLOW’s mini-albums were released months before the shocking news. The girl group released its first mini-album, “Reminiscence”, on February 3. It featured the lead single, “Dun Dun”. This song is the first single chart entry by Gaon for the band. It was No. It was at No. 63 on the Download Chart. The Gaon Chart also featured the mini-album, which reached the No. After selling more than 27,000 copies in a month, the mini-album reached No. 4 on the Album Chart.

The sextet began its “Everlasting Tour” in the USA on March 6. It started in Dallas, Texas. Next came Atlanta, Chicago and Jersey City. Los Angeles was also on the agenda, but due to COVID-19, that event was cancelled.
